Yesterday night, Aras was really inspired upon witnessing the unbelievable transformation of obese people into their slim slender body figure using The Best Life Diet by Bob Greene. To him, the Life Best Diet is a hot diet that fits his yoga lifestyle. It can really changes his physical and emotional appearance the way he wants it.

So, here’s a spectacular recipe from Best Life Diet- Steak Tagliata with Peppers and Zucchini . Sounds enticing, right? This is a tempting but simple mouth-watering nutritious recipe you can include in your diet without a guilt.

You need the following:

  • 3 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 medium zucchini, finely diced
  • 1 yellow and 1 red bell pepper, seeded and finely diced
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped lemon pulp
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon zest
  • 3–4 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound boneless sirloin or rib eye steaks, 1 inch thick

Here’s how:

1.Heat the olive oil in a 12-inch pan.
2.For 30 seconds, saute the garlic.
3.Add the onion, the zucchini and the peppers.
4.For ten minutes, stir regularly until the veggies become crisp in appearance.
5.After that, add the lemon pulp, parsley, salt, black pepper and lemon zest.
6.Set aside it to a dish bowl.
7.Cover it to warm.
8.Now with the steak, season it with salt and pepper.
9.Cook it for at least 4-8 minutes until tender.
10.Leave it for another five minutes.
11.Eat and serve the steak with the veggies.

This dish will make four servings and has been proven to be nutritious granting you 360g calories, 2.4 g fat, 7 g saturated fat, 100 mg of cholesterol, 210 mg sodium, 11 grams carbohydrate, 3 g dietary fiber, and 27 g protein.

So, here is a spectacular recipe from Best Life Diet- Fire Roasted Tomato-Shrimp Veracruz . Sounds enticing, right? This is a tempting but easy-to-prepare simple nutritious recipe you can include in your diet without a guilt.

For this simple recipe, you need:

1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 pound medium raw shrimp, shelled and deveined, tails removed (if desired)
4 medium green onions, sliced (about 1/4 cup)
1 medium fresh jalapeño or serrano chile, stemmed, seeded and finely chopped
1 tsp. grated orange zest
1 tsp. chopped fresh thyme leaves or 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1 14 1/2-oz. can fire-roasted diced tomatoes, undrained. (If fire-roasted tomatoes are unavailable, use regular canned diced tomatoes.)

How?

1.Heat the olive oil in a twelve-inch-pan with a medium-high pressure.
2.Then cook the shrimp, green onions, orange zest, chile, oil thyme for at least one minute.
3.Stir regularly.
4.While stirring, add tomatoes and stir again.
5.Heat up the mixture and wait until it boils.
6.When it boils, lower the heat.
7.Simmer it again for five minutes, remove the pan cover.
8.Stir until the shrimp turns pink and the sauce becomes thick.
9.This dish will make four servings.

So, here is a spectacular recipe from Best Life Diet- Hearty Fresh Mushroom Chili, courtesy of Mushroom Council. Sounds enticing, right? This is the tempting but a simple nutritious recipe you can include in your diet without a guilt.

Here, you need:

  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • About 3 cups of 8 ounces fresh white button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 can, about 15 ounces reduced-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 can of about 15 ounces reduced-sodium or no-salt-added stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can of about 15 ounces reduced-sodium kidney beans
  • 1 can of about 7 ounces no-salt-added corn kernels

Here’s how:

1.Heat up the oil in a medium-high large saucepan.
2.Then put the garlic and mushroom.
3.Stir the mushrooms until tender.
4.When the liquid evaporates after five minutes, mix the mushroom with chili powder for one minute.
5.Add the other ingredients: chicken broth, stewed tomatoes, corn and the kidney beans.
6.Wait until it boils.
7.Upon boiling, trim down the heat and simmer it again for another ten minutes.
8.Serve while it’s hot. Topped it with tortilla chips.

This dessert is very easy, so fast. All you need is the following:

  • 8 oz. chocolate soy milk
  • 4 oz. strawberries
  • 4 oz. bananas
  • Ice

Then, mix all the ingredients in a blender for a minute or two and drink it with a refreshing splish-splash.

So, here is a spectacular recipe from Bob Greene- The Spinach Salad with Apples and Walnuts. Sounds tempting, right? This is the tempting but nutritious recipe you can include in your diet without a guilt.

Here, you need:

For Croutons:

  • 2 cups multigrain bread cut into 1/4-inch cubes

For Salad:

  • 8 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 apples, each sliced into 12 pieces
  • 4 Tbsp. chopped toasted walnuts
  • 2 tsp. finely chopped red onion
  • 8 hard-boiled omega-3 enriched eggs, each sliced in 8 pieces

For Dressing:

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp. sherry vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste

Here’s how:
1.Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2.Toast the cube of bread for seven minutes until lightly-toasted on the outside and in the middle.
3.While waiting, mix all the salad ingredients in a large bowl while the dressing ingredients in a small one.
4.This recipe is good for four servings.
5.As you serve it, top it with croutons. Sprinkle with pepper to taste.
6.Serve immediately.

Last night, I was in awe while witnessing the unbelievable transformation of obese people into their slim awesome figure using The Best Life Diet by Bob Greene. I can say that this diet is a hot one! It really changes you the way you want it.

So, here is a spectacular recipe from Bob Greene- The Chocolate Espresso Mousse. Sounds tempting, right? This is the tempting recipe you can include in your diet without feeling a jolt of guilt.

First thing firsts, you need:

  • 1 cup and 2 Tbsp. 8th Continent light chocolate soymilk
  • 1 Tbsp. instant espresso powder or instant coffee granules or crystals
  • 1 ounce semi-sweet or bittersweet baking chocolate
  • 1 box (with four servings) chocolate instant pudding and pie filling mix
  • 2 cups frozen fat-free whipped topping, thawed


Here are the procedures:

1.First, stir the two tablespoon soymilk, espresso powder and chocolate in a one-quart saucepan.
2.While in medium heat, stir the chocolate until the mixture is well-blended.
3.Then, beat one cup of soymilk and pudding mix using your electric mixer. If you are only using the traditional way of whisking, beat it until thickened for at least two minutes.
4.Mix the melted chocolate into the pudding mixture, fold it for whipped topping.
5.Serve immediately while it’s cold. Or refrigerate it till the serving time.

DAY FIVE

Breakfast
Best Life Cheerios Mix, how to do this?

  • Combine 1/2 cup Cheerios, 2/3 cup Weetabix Crispy Flakes & Fiber, and 1/4 cup All-Bran. Top with 1/2 cup blueberries, 2 tablespoons almonds and 1 cup non-fat milk.

Snack

  • Iced decaf skim latte (12 ounces)
  • Small handful of cashews (2-3 tablespoons)

Lunch

  • 2 open-faced turkey melts: for each, melt 1 slice Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Whole Grain Bread spread with 1 teaspoon light mayo topped with 1 ounce turkey, 2 slices tomato, 2 basil leaves in 1 slice cheddar cheese. Melt in a toaster oven.
  • Rest of the tomato (sliced)
  • 1 cup of grapes


Snack

1 ounce dark chocolate

Dinner

  • Grilled Snapper with Eggplant, Squash and Potatoes
  • 1 cup brown rice


DAY SIX

Breakfast
Oprah’s Fruit and Yogurt Breakfast

Snack
1/2 whole wheat pita dipped in 1/3 cup hummus

Lunch

  • Arugula, Grapefruit and Avocado Salad
  • 2 ounces fresh mozzarella stuffed into the remaining 1/2 pita

Snack

  • 2 slices (2 ounces) turkey breast
  • 1 grilled red pepper


Dinner

Slim-Fast Chocolate Banana Smoothie:

Blend the following until smooth:

  • 1 can of Slim-Fast Optima Creamy Milk Chocolate
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 6 ice cubes

3 tablespoons trail mix

 

DAY SEVEN

Breakfast

  • 1 serving Strawberry Orange Smoothie
  • 1 slice Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Whole Grain Bread (toasted) with 1 tablespoon peanut butter

Snack
1 slice Wasa crispbread topped with 1 ounce cheddar cheese

Lunch

  • A fruit bowl of slices of banana, apple, peach and mango with 6-ounce container Yoplait Light Boston Cream Pie yogurt and 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts


Snack

1 ounce dark chocolate

Dinner

  • 3 cups mixed-lettuce salad tossed with 2 teaspoons olive oil and a splash balsamic vinegar and topped with about 2 ounces grilled shrimp
  • 2 beets
  • 1 ear roasted corn
  • 1 sliced tomato
  • 1/2 roasted pepper
  • 1 scoop homemade mango sorbet

  • 1 1/2 cups vegetables grilled in olive oil
  • 1 hard-boiled egg

Dinner

  • 1 can Slim-Fast Optima Creamy Milk Chocolate
  • 2 slices Wasa crispbread and 1 ounce cheddar cheese

DAY FOUR

Breakfast
1 slice Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Whole Grain Bread toasted, topped with 1 fried egg, 2 slices turkey
8 ounces water flavored with 1/2 of a squeezed lemon

Snack
1 green apple
5 thin Parmesan cheese slices (about 1 ounce)

Lunch
Grilled turkey burger: Ground turkey meat combined with finely chopped green onions, red peppers, and garlic to form a patty, and grilled. Serve on a seven-grain bun and spread with 2 teaspoons reduced-fat mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon mustard. 2 grilled vegetable kabobs composed of cherry tomatoes, mushroom, zucchini and onion.

Snack
1 can Slim-Fast Optima French Vanilla

Dinner
Bowl of cherries (about 1 cup) with 1/2 banana, sliced, and 1/2 peach topped with 6-ounce Yoplait Original Harvest Peach yogurt, 3 tablespoons walnuts and 1/2 cup Kashi Go Lean cereal.

DAY ONE

Breakfast
Mix the following for 30 seconds in the blender:

  • 4 ounces calcium-enriched orange juice
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 6-ounce container Yoplait Original Harvest Peach yogurt

Serve with a handful almonds (about 12)

Snack
2 slices Wasa crispbread topped with 1 tablespoon peanut butter and1 teaspoon SaraBeth pineapple apricot jam

Lunch

1 slice Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Whole Grain Bread with 2 teaspoons light mayo topped with

  • 3 ounces smoked turkey
  • sliced thin 1 slice pepper jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup grilled onions brushed with 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 thin slice avocado
  • 1 slice tomato
  • Lettuce

8 ounces sugar-free iced tea

Snack
1) 6 fresh-scooped watermelon balls
2) Remaining yogurt from breakfast

Dinner
1) 1 cup wild rice
2) 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, green peas, or carrots) sautéed in 2 teaspoons olive oil
3) 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast cutlets (6 ounces total) grilled with a little olive oil

DAY TWO


Breakfast

1) 1/4 cup (dry, about a cup cooked) steel-cut oatmeal topped with 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts and about 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
2) 1 cup nonfat milk with a splash of hazelnut coffee creamer

Snack

1) 1 6-ounce container Yoplait Light Key Lime Pie yogurt
2) 2 tablespoons chopped almonds for topping

Lunch
2 slices of Wasa crispbread topped with the following:

  • 2 ounces turkey
  • 1 ounce pepper jack cheese
  • 2 fresh basil leaves

1 cup Curried Squash Soup

Snack

1 pear
1 ounce sharp cheddar cheese

Dinner
Pasta mixed with veggies and chicken: Here’s what you gonna do….

Sauté 1 cup chicken breast strips with 2 cups vegetables in 1 teaspoon olive oil and 1 cup reduced-sodium chicken stock. Add 1 cup cooked Barilla PLUS pasta and the juice of 1 lemon and lots of black pepper.
